I really enjoy working for Voicecurve. The company offers a flexible work schedule and the opportunity to work from home. I believe the pay is adequate for the type of job being preformed and when you add the full insurance benefit package for full time employees it really isn’t a bad deal. Voicecurve offers each employee the opportunity to improve themselves through bi-weekly reviews.

In addition Voicecurve offers you an opportunity to help individuals that really do not know where to turn in a time of emotional crises. I can not even count the times callers have thanked me for listening and being there for them. It is very frustrating for these callers when they contact attorney after attorney and no firm has the financial backing to take on their case or a desire to take on the government yet they are told that they probable do in fact have a case. Where do they turn then is to our clients at Voicecurve.

Self scheduling makes the job. If you have kids this place lets you pick your own schedule. It has made all the difference for me. The schedules are not always ideal since as the best shifts go first, but if you really need cetain times off you just don't schedule for those hours since you get to pick.

Positive experience overall.

Good place to work overall. Nothing is perfect, but I like that they are a progressive company that welcomes change.

Answering the phone can get old, but the online community of coworkers is a nice way to get through the day.

This is a positive work environment. The managers are fabulous and positive people and I only say this because one particular person is determined to post very negative and personal attacks here.

Otherwise the work life balance is nice. I don't know of any other company that allows 90 percent of people to work from home. Self scheduling has also been a big hit. I only wish that Leads could also work from home and self schedule.

I would recommend it to others.

I worked at VoiceCurve for quite a few years. It was an incredible growing and learning experience. I found the owners and managers of the company were very professional, honest and extremely hard working. I started out on the bottom taking calls and worked my way up into an amazing position. Hard work and a great attitude won't go unrecognized.

I have a lot of respect for the owners, managers and employees of this company. It's a great team!

I may not be able to rate benefits or job security (I haven't been working long enough to have any), but as far as training on a system that is so new and innovative, I am very pleased. There is excellent support from managers and colleagues. Training is new, having so many new people coming up under a learning curve is new, suddenly discovering you need more servers is new. Everything is new and has its surprises. I worked for many years in finance for a Fortune 500 High Tech company that used to be the top employer in Oregon. Finally, I feel like I'm back on the edge once more. Bottom line is, there is nothing like working from your own home. Think of how much money and time you save not driving to/from work for 60+ minutes day. I'm saving money on gas, have more time at home, don't need to worry or pay for parking, don't have to keep up a "business" wardrobe, don't even have to wear makeup! So I'm not making $20 an hour, I'm saving that much and more on what I'm not spending by working at home. I am not discriminated against for my age or sex and there are no "office politics" I have to worry about.

Now for the best part; I am thrilled to be helping so many people and families who are suffering. I "meet" great people every day over the phone. As long as I can continue to do the work I'm accustomed to doing for the non-profits I participate in, I'm happy. This career allows me to do that with a flexible schedule. I get to go outside and play with my dog, hold my cats, or visit with my horse at lunch. I have the best view ever from my desk as I look out across the pastures towards Smith Rock. Everyone I know (and I know a lot of people) believes this is a dream job. So far, I agree.

This is a great company to work for if you have kids! You pretty much set your own schedule. I live in Colton, OR so going anywhere is a long drive. I save a ton of money on gas and mileage on my car. The job is a cake walk if you know how to read and follow directions. They also have a great benefit package.

I have been with the company for a little over a month now. I have to say that after reading some of the other reviews of voicecurve from other employees and meeting some people first hand this is what I have to say. This job takes a brain and a good attitude. I think it says a lot about a person when they write such negative things about such a great company. In my opinion the ones posting these negative comments are clearly struggling because of poor attitude and lack of skills. I am finding this job to be rewarding, fun and a life saver in such a bad economy! I am thankful and excited to see where I go with such a fun and fast paced company!

I have been with Voicecurve for almost four months and I absolutely love it! When I tell friends and family what I do they ask me where they can send their resume! Who wouldn't want to work from home in their robe, schedule their own hours, or have incredible co-workers and supervisors?
I have had excellent training, been given all the tools I need to succeed, support from my supervisor once I started working from home, and have had continuing support from all of management ever since. So I am not sure why previous posters have such negative things to say. Voicecurve is growing and it should be attributed to all the great people they employ! I guess there is always one person who just doesn’t quite get it…..

From Bend, OR — 02/09/2010

I would just like to say that in an economy such as this, I feel honored to have been hired. I live in Bend and know that there are probably thousands of people that want my job. There are families that have lost everything i.e.homes, health care, jobs, the very basic securities that before were taken for granted. The products we should be concentrating on producing are love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Remember, it is so much easier to be nice than it is to be mean. It also takes more muscles to frown, than it does to smile! :-)
