I've worked for Sobey's for nearly 10 years now. Although I'm only part-time, I work anywhere from 35-40 hours per week and can honestly say most days I enjoy my work. Our department manager is a very hard worker herself and cares about her staff. Basically if you do your job you will be left alone, even by our store manager. The pay is not bad compared to most retail companies, and there are plenty of opportunities for advancement for anyone who wants it. Overall I must say sobeys is a fairly good company to work for, at least 670.
