The two reviews below me are pretty funny to me because apparently they are one of three things:

1. People who never got hired
2. People who didn't make the cut and were let go
3. You work at a pathetic "competitor" (which you may consider yourself a competitor but there really is no competition) company, trying to make ReachLocal look bad...

Whomever you are you aren't rating this accurately which just shows me your reviews should be null and void anyway because you put -5 for all the ratings ...umm, how can you say that it's a -5 for benefits when they pay for 100% of the medical benefits. Seriously, whatever your issue is build a bridge and get over it...MOVE ON WITH YOUR LIFE.

This is a great company which offers you a good competitve base salary, excellent benefits, and great potential - but it's not easy and it's not handed to you - if you work hard and are good at what you do, you'll love working here...if you think that you can sit on your butt and get paid 6 figures you are sadly wrong. It's sales...and you have a great product to sell, it all comes down to whether or not you should be in sales or not and if you can't why would ReachLocal keep paying you a nice base salary and full medical benefits when you aren't doing your job!!!

This is a strong integrity based company...from the first day of hire we are told not to just take anyones money, we need to be able to teach business owners about what we offer and IF we can help them then do so...if we can't then walk away. Another thing is that there isn't another internet company out there that offers what we can, the technology we have it flawless. We are encouraged to tell our clients that the way we make money is mark up...its a no brainer, we are handling your marketing account so the business owner doesn't have to; optimizing a few times daily, remarketing, tracking, putting keywords on trail constantly, ect. Again, obviously we need to make money for our time and technology to allow this to work so well. So if you're going to do internet marketing advertising do it with reachlocal....hands down.

Also for those fool saying the money's not there - HA yea, obviously its not there if YOUR NOT PRODUCING!!! My colleagues are the cream of the crop when it comes to sales. Infact when I was in training - I looked around and I couldn't believe how many people were in sales for 15+ years, leaving 100k books of business.

So, sorry to burst your "trashing RL" bubble but you are sadly mistaken...oh and one more thing, I'm an IMC and I have to say that management or recruiting could care less about writing positive reviews on here to make RL look good, they have tons of resumes for jobs at RL....after all we did just get recognized as the fastest growing technology company in american and the only other internet company besides RL to say that is google...do you want to start trashing google too?
