i have worked at Godiva for several months, and I can safely say that I enjoy it. I have a great manager and district manager who help me out when scheduling problems arise. I was promoted from sales associate to key lead/supervisor after two shifts because my manager felt that I had great customer service skills. I currently work another job at Victoria's Secret which I can also say that I do not like as much as Godiva. I will add these things, and I believe that the job varies from district to district and manager to manager. I love my manager and assistant manager
pay--it's retail. I get paid 8.50 an hour, but since my change in position i get about a dollar and a half more
respect--i get plenty of respect from my managers whether it is district manager and even regional manager
benefits--don't know because i am not eligible
security--do your job and engage with customers and you should be fine.
growth--i think that it is pretty good
location--in every upscale mall across North America and Europe
co-worker competence--my store is a modern store, and is small. there are only five people who work there. we are like a family, and i love my coworkers. we are professional.
work environment--my manager is so relaxed and fun. we are number three in our district in sales, and we get one hundred percent every time we get a secret shopper. she rewards us for a job well done.
like i said, it varies from district to district, but i really love working at Godiva.
