The Army is a great place to work. Not only is job security unmatched, but you have the flexibility to do the kinds of things you want to do and plenty of room to grow and learn within the organization. You sacrifice a good amount of pay (especially if you're an engineer or scientist) to get the benefits the government offers but with that also comes a good balance between work / life and an even better work environment. These are things that cannot be matched in most industries, so I'll take that over a great salary any day. I'd highly recommend looking anywhere within the Department of Defense, especially for younger college grads ... it's a great place to start a career.
