There is no other insurance company that comes close. If every employer were an insurance industry insider, they would all have American Fidelity handling their company's Section 125 and employee benefit plans. They have a very strict hiring process which requires background checks, BMV checks, documented sales success, and a college degree, among other things. Not like almost all other worksite benefit providers, AFLAC for example, who will contract with anyone with a heartbeat- no education, refinement or skill required.

You are a "W2 Employee" with American Fidelity and you get paid a salary. Employers like that because you don't need to sell something to get a paycheck and they're not pushy salesmen. Many of their account execs have business & finance degrees. The AfLAC & similar reps are independent contractors and get a 1099 at the end of the year and are paid no salary, no benefits, no nothing- just a commision check if they sell something. Most insurance sales reps in the business last only a year or two. Employers hate that!

Turnover rate at American Fidelity is minimal with many sales reps/account executives working there for more than a decade. That's a lifetime in the insurance business. I don't work for American Fidelity but frankly wish I did. They offer their benefits to my company and they are very well liked. My brother-in-law worked there for something like 14 years but left only because he got picked up by our minor league baseball team. He use to rave about them to us (family) every time we asked him about his job! Lucky guy all the way around. Anyway, from all I know this is a great company to work for and represents their customers better than anyone else. They are definitely envied by their peers in the business. They hire only a select handful of people each year. They are your best choice if you came to this site to read up on them before deciding to offer them in your business. Compare their score to their competitors. You'll start to understand. If you came to this site to read up on them because you want a job there, good luck! (you'll probably need it!) :)
