Presidio has gone through change and yet has kept much of the local knowledge and flavor. As a larger company we are not simply forced to be the same -- city by city or region by region -- as long as the customer results are there. While we could use more standardization and training, i am very proud to be involved with the high caliber of people at the company. Vrtually every company has been impacted by this economic cycle; yet, Presidio is doing better than most and appears to still be hiring.

From what I can tell the company is hiring like 5 people a month. While that can be a good sign, the last time I saw something such as this the company was bankrupt within two years(1999). Certainly that may not be the case, and I hope not. Myself, I am leaving and haven't really much negative to say. But then I've not been there long. I will say there seems to be a glass top for engineers, haven't seen any management that is former engineer. Good luck all.

In the 5 years I've worked at Presidio, I've been treated with respect and well paid. Presidio's reputation in this market is beyond reproach, our technical team is widely regarded as the best in the business. I've worked for other resellers and for large, multi-national companies. Presidio is absolutely the best company I have worked for. Presidio's growth, whether organic or through acquisition, provides trememdous opportunity. I look forward to being a part of it.

I find Presidio to be a fantastic place to work. I consider this the company that I've worked for since the mid 80's, as my company merged with Presidio and was integrated into the fold. During that process, we've grown in size and opportunity, added even more fantastic co-workers to an already great bunch, and continued to build upon a solid reputation earned from our clients. The work environment is very positive, we've got some of the brightest engineers in the industry, and there's definately the atmosphere of "we're all on the same team". Opportunity abounds here, for those willing to work to create it. I've also had new employees come to me (after 6 months in the organization) and mention that "we have a really good bunch of people here" (in comparision to many other places they've worked).

If I lost this job tomorrow, I believe that it would be a huge struggle to find another employer with the same positive dynamics and people as we have here at Presidio.

I've been with Presidio for 11 years. As a technical engineer, there are as many opportunities as you wish to make. Learning is encouraged. The work is challenging. My coworkers are among the best in their respective fields. It's a great place to work.

I have been at Presidio for 5 years now and love the people, experience, and direction of the company! It feels like a family type environment and therefore I am treated as such. The company has evolved over the last 5 years from a mom and pop shop to a well oiled machine. I look forward to the growth of Presidio and my personal growth within Presidio.

I have been with Presidio since 1999, and I can confidently recommend this company to any prospective candidates. It is rare you find a company that has continued a family type culture as it has grown over the years from $40 million in revenue to nearly $1 Billion. Presidio has a team of 'A' players and that is why we have been so successful. If you are great at what you do--you will excel here! And Presidio Management does NOT micromanage its talent. Our team is highly experienced which makes for a great culture and work environment. With our rapid and continued growth--the opportunities are vast!

Presidio overall is an outstanding organization to work for and the associates are good as can be found. I spent the bulk of my career as a customer of Presidio and that is what compelled me to seek employment with them. Pay and benefits are only tangibles measures that create a small part of the working environment. While I rated them "4" for pay and benefits I am comparing them to the federal government but that still puts them way above average. However; the most important parts of a job are; do you feel valued and are you doing meaningful work; Presidio offers that and more. Associates are respected and treated as integral components to the Presidio success story. Presidio is a compassionate employer that really cares about your personal life. When dealing with personal issues Presidio always is there to provide whatever support is necessary.
Several people have gone from entry level positions to sales positions allowing them great growth opportunity as people and monetarily. The co-worker are virtually all top of the line and always willing to help even if it is not their "problem". In many respects Presidio is a family environment and provides that support, security and sense of belonging employees are always desiring. In the four years I have worked for the company, I have always stated what a great place to work from the president on down they represent the best in class.

I have been with the company for over 8 years as an engineer. I enjoy working for the company and could not see myself working for anyone else. I do not work out of our headquarters but frequent there often to test projects I am working on in the lab. Since I have been with the company the market has changed but Presidio has adapted to those changes. The upper management has always treated me well and I feel they are on the right course of action for keeping the business on a steady growth path. When I started with the company we were rather small and it felt like a family owned business as we have grown that has not changed. That is one of the reasons I enjoy working for Presidio.

I could go on and on about all aspects of the business but I won’t. Just know that Presidio is a great place to work and I have enjoyed my time here. I hope to have many more years here as well
