Poly's a privately-held company, in business since 1975, and entirely debt-free and self-supported. This is one of the few manufacturing facilities left, and it is very job-focused. This is also a company where educational degrees don't mean as much as at other companies. You get by on your own merit, and they tend not to lay off their workers, although they will cut back on overtime. In the past, it was a very . . . lively . . . place to work, but that has calmed down in the past few years. Very dedicated work-force, and although you don't get paid as much as you would at other companies, it's still a generally more secure place to be than others.
