Monsanto pays very well for most jobs. The Benefits are fantastic. Monsanto likes to hire contractors instead of employees which makes a strange culture between the two types of employees. Job security is like any other place, so don't get too comfy. They preach good work/life balance but have no follow through in practice. They keep skeleton crew of emplyees to lower costs, so people's plates are pretty full most of the time. They love employees who train and move on/up in jobs at monsanto, they are very good about helping with your potential. There are global locations of varying pleasantness. Most employees are very competent. The work environment is very very corporate....but business casual so at least you don't need to wear a tie.

Monsanto is a pretty entrepreneurial place to work. Interesting work. They are just a little backwards about Managers needing offices, etc.
