Because I like the work environment and cooperative nature. But its quite far from my place, so it took a long time in travelling. But its a small thing.

Pay - Being a small company MFS doesn't pay huge fancy packages but I have seen people getting advance salaries and loans and I know not many companies go out of the way to help their employees in the time of financial crisis.

Respect - Well It has to be earned!!! :) If you are good at your work you'll definitely be respected at MFS

Benefits - We used to get Individual and company bonus. Anniversary/birthday party reimbursement which were withdrawn in 2007

Job Security - Mindfire has never fired any employee at the time of recession

Work/Life Balance - Its great, I mean we all work long nights and weekends sometimes, but you definitely get appreciated for that at MFS. But that actually depends more on your lead rather than company policies. Personally, I've never had a problem with that.

Career Potential/Growth: It depends on you entirely though I've personally had a little problem getting the right guidance from my seniors.

Co-worker Competence: There is very healthy work environment, my peers are very helpful and motivating.

Work Environment: Good Environment. Compared to other IT companies, I would say there is no office politics.

A Very Good Company to Start your career in , that is if you do NOT mind getting very very less salary compared to your peers at IBM, Infy, Accenture, TCS, etc. The technology exposure that you get is Second to None. Even Project Trainees are allowed to work in live projects from second month of their stint, given that they have a reasonably good head.

PAY: As described you will start at a very low level as a Fresher. Some could even say Pea Nuts But there are is a good recognition once you prove your skills. People above 3 years of experience get salaries that would be very well comparable to IBM, Infy, Accenture, TCS, you Name It! Compensation is Good – Very Good at senior level and is minuscule at less than 2 years of experience. But its still much better than many small – medium sized companies and is considered low only when you look at the biggies.

Respect: Completely based on your performance. Due to lesser hierarchical levels, good performers are noticed by management even at very early stage in the career. Same time people especially in the 3 -4 years bracket, feel that (with good reason) they should be given more powers, designations and respect.

Benefits: Thanks to the constant pressure on the industry as such the benefits are not that great to write about (at the moment)! But what ever can be done by the company will be done – Probably the only Indian IT company to tale all the employees on roll for a Bangkok/Pattya trip 

Job Security: A Small level TCS? Only people with severe – very severe attitude and performance issues are reprimanded and at this centre, No one has been asked to Quit after getting their confirmation.

Work/Life Balance: Depends on your project and your own skill set. Flex time is there and if you are good at your work no one will care about your “extra curricular” Activities!

Career Potential/Growth: Performers are always rewarded and given that it’s a growing company there are a lot of opportunities to be taken – Its really up to the individual to prove,

Location: Could have been Much Better – May be some where near the Info City, etc.

Co-worker Competence: On an average the skill set is good. But professional environment and good work culture are slowly vanishing.

Work Environment: Same as above!

Overall, if you want to learn there is No better place and if you have patience then you will reap very good rewards!
