The Lockton culture is its greatest strength. Most companies have a set of values or philosophies that are posted on the web site. The great thing about Lockton is that most people in the organization live out those values. They keep things simple here: it's all about winning and keeping clients. That clears away a lot of the bureaucratic nonsense that infects many large companies. If you do your job, solve problems for clients, help bring in a new client and support the sales effort, you have opportunities. It is a fast-paced environment, and you are surrounded by smart, engaged and energized people. Benefits are better than average (and they have kept the dollar for dollar match on 401K when other companies have suspended the match) and pay matches the value you bring.

Fairly decent pay, great benefits, great job security and the location in DTC of Denver is nice with a park across the street and lots of wide sidewalks to walk at lunchtime. Lots of restaurants within walking or short driving distance. It's easy to get to from most areas of Denver. Career Potential / Growth is probably great if you are young. I love just about everything about Lockton except my particular position. But still I am making more money after being laid off from a job I had for over 12 years. And the company is doing well financially even in the economy of 2008-2009.

Lockton is the Last Best Place to Work. Have been there for 2 years and still waiting for honeymoon to be over. This company truly respects its associates (employees) and works to consistently provide a better work environment. Over 90% associate and client retention. Wonder how Aon and Marsh compare?
