Where should I begin? I have been doing IT for a very long time and I have worked in many different companies. I could honestly say IPsoft is by far the best company I have worked for. Some of the perks? 1) Every senior manager in the company has an open door policy. Even the CEO! You can walk into their office and speak about anything that you need to get off your chest whether it be work or personal life. 2) There is real team spirit amongst engineers. Granted there are some bad apples that come and go but they always come and go, they never stick around. It takes a really unselfish person to be apart of this company as everyone in this company shares the same goals as you. To be the best! If you are selfish do not bother. 3) Every single day you come to work there is always something new to do or learn. As a techie there is no better feeling than knowing that you will not be doing the same thing over and over again. 4) The company parties are great! Top shelf everything at the best places in NYC. What other company takes you out regularly (you can also bring your significant other) all expenses paid in financial times like this? You work hard and you play hard. 5) Freedom to learn anything you want. Nobody at IPsoft will ever tell you no when you want to expand your knowledge base. If you are a Windows engineer and want to learn Unix, go right ahead. Nobody will tell you no, you cannot do that focus on your work only. 6) Great health benefits.

In response to all the negative comments before this one. It is pretty obvious, you just want to earn a paycheck and you could not make it in a fast paced environment that challenges you every single day. Some people love that, that is why I am still here. If you want to be apart of something special look no further. I promise you, you will not be disappointed.

So far so good, the guys I work with are great, supportive and knowledgeable. I took less money but I think it was worth it, as I am learning a lot and I can see myself growing here. It does get pretty hectic at times but it is a pretty tight team that comes together well. I hear that there are many more openings so hopefully we fill them quickly. Looking forward to our yacht trip this weekend! Oh and you can't beat our view! If anything changes I will update my post but it has been a great experience so far.

Wow - not for nothing all those naysayers aren't here for a reason, if you actually talk to the people who work here, you will find that they love this company. Management and the ops leadership team have been here for years and have all grown from the engineering level. Yeah it is definitely not an easy place to work, demanding clients, tight deadlines, but what would you expect working in the managed services industry. Go work for a failing dot.com, media company or a school if you want a easy tech job. Best place I have ever worked, period.
