From Atlanta — 01/28/2010

Upon graduating from Auburn, I knew I wanted to pursue a career in sales. Insight Global stuck out to me over the rest because of the opportunity, the long term career potential, and the great employees. I have been with Insight Global ever since and have truly found the company I want to retire with!
I started off as a recruiter learning the IT ropes. I spent nights, weekends, 70+ hour weeks learning as much as possible so that I understood the majority of skill sets in IT. Infrastructure, telecom., programming, development, project management, etc. I clearly stood out above my peers due to my dedication and work ethic. This gave me the best opportunity possible to take over some large accounts for an Account Manager that moved into a management role! He was promoted to Sales Manager for our Boston office and I was chosen to transition with him and begin my sales career dedicated to downtown Atlanta. Since then, I have been working with my accounts establishing relationships and learning everyone’s individual requirements. It is extremely important to me that I come through for the hiring managers and make their lives easier with qualified candidates and efficient turnaround time. I understand the value of the vendor partnership and my goal is to be valued as one of the best partners within my accounts. I hit our sales contest my first full year in sales. I earned six figures my second year here and now I am getting started on my third. The compensation is great and the people are wonderful to work with. It is very much a team environment and you learn so much from everyone around you. Some of the things that are not great are very long hours, little vacation time your first two years and I'm not a huge fan of doing expense reports all the time, but if you come into it knowing these things and being okay with them because you want to be successful its not bad at all. It is definitely a great place to work!

Job economy was terrible, and I was working at a dead-end job. I posted my resume on many websites, but never found anything so I took an interim job to make ends meet. Out of the blue one day, I received a call from an Insight recruiter. I decided to go for the interview, and the rest is history! The job they matched me to is the best job I have ever had. All the experience I have had in the past completely fits the career I am now involved in, and I owe it all to Insight. Thanks team!!!

I wanted to thank my recruiter as well as Insight Global, for finding me a great job opportunity in this extremely difficult job market. I have worked with Insight Global in the past and they have always been honest, professional, and serious about finding me a great career opportunity in addition to providing their clients with an experienced and qualified consultant. I would also like to give high regards to the rest of the Insight Global staff especially the people who handle HR and Payroll related duties. They perform a very important job and do it very well. I believe that Insight Global hires the best staff to recruit the best people and I’m proud to be part of their professional team. Thank you for finding me the job opportunity and keep up the great work!

Insight Global for is a great place to work for the right person. Yes the expectations were high from the minute you walked in the door and while the hours were more than some of my friends it's not as bad as what some of the postings make it out to be (7:15 - 5:30). However, even in my current job I find myself getting in just as early and leaving just as late. It is a high intensity environment but they are doing what it takes to be successful. For me personally I decided a sales career and the staffing environment is not what I wanted but for the right individual wanting sales you can make a lot of money and grow in your career quickly.

If there were opportunities such as a marketing position within the company I would still be there. I am still new to the business world but where else does the CEO and President of a large company still make office visits and take the time to have personal conversations with even the recruiters every week. Again, this wasn't the right opportunity for me but for a person wanting sales I would recommend them to Insight Global. Some of my best friends are the friends I made at Insight Global.

I love working here. But you have to fit in, otherwise you won't last. It is a lot of hard work and you have to prove yourself, but you deserve every $$ once you start making bank!!

Everything that was promised in the interview was true. Great gorwth potential, positive work environment, un-capped commission structure, and stock in the company. Great place for people who want a career, not a job.

I love working for Insight Global! The corporate culture is "work hard/ play hard" and the opportunity to advance is great. You have to be one who likes a high-energy, fast-paced, competitive crowd because we sprint from 7am-6pm just about every day. I was afraid of the hours at first, but I learned fast that I get to spend the day with my best friends and make money doing it. Its a great company to start in an entry level position and work your way up as far as you want to go. I recommend it to go-getters and young professionals looking into sales careers!
