There is an amazing work/life balance at HealthPartners. My manager respects that we have life outside of work and is very flexible. Our ideas are heard and often implemented. Since we are non-profit, the pay isn't the best. However, the culture of the company is well worth the slightly lower pay. My co-workers are outstanding and the benefits are the best! I do feel everyone has your best interest at heart and would do all that they can to avoid any lay offs. The only reason job security isn't a 5, is just due to the economy. I would highly recommend HealthPartners as an employer and plan to stay there a very long time!

Overall, I really like HP....I have been there for a few years. Manager gets your yearly review in order a month ahead. This is very nice! This is a non-union office...my work is souly on my merit, which is fine...however, job security is really shakey. They do not tolerate being sick, if you are sick with any cronic illness you will be gone in a heartbeat. Also "training/lunch" is not for you, it's a time for you to be trained while you are eating your lunch that you brought, and on your only extended time off of the day. This only occurs 1 x a month, but still should not at all. Besides your 1/2 hour break you are entitled to one 15 min break. Benefits are truly the best in todays market. Vacation time, very generous because you do not acrue a seperate sick time. M-F schedule, weekends off, who can complain about that! Still overall, very good company.

Great place to work...benefits are good, including retirement, 401k match, medical and dental.
