Not a bad place to work really . The small number of people that haven't left are generally dedicated and try do a good job given the limited resources available and the constant upheavals, moves and chaos. Apparently there is a new Managing Director on the scene although he's a proving to have a lot in common with Nessie - there are occasional reports of sightings but no-one can provide definitive proof.

I don't know about sockpuppets on 11/2 but the very personal comments that were on here spread round the offices that day and some people decided to give their own views. There's some good people at this company but this year will see if the management's got what it takes. Losing the biggest customer was always going to be painful. But if the rumours of new contracts is true then the company can get back on track.

Great Company - struggling to understand why so many negative comments - no doubt from the people that have been dragging us down for years and have now been shaken out of the tree and dont like being pushed to perform by the management team.

IMHO - we have been far too soft on these people, you only have to look at the lack of people being PIP'd or proactivly exited from the business to see it.

If you dont like working here then leave dont rubbish our company when your not wanted.

I have had a really challenging and rewarding career with Getronics so far and will endeavour to continue to work hard so that it continues. What you put in, you get out and I hope that those people who are obviously only prepared to make personal attacks about people, though an anonymous medium, get what they deserve and exit the company leaving the rest of us to get on with the job in hand..... To those people.......GROW SOME BALLS, go now and we can ensure we save jobs for those people who genuinely deserve them!.

Pure cowardice! How brave of the two people who have posted anoymous negative personal comments on here. It makes me realise exactly why some people need to move on. Instead of striving to make the Company a success you would rather focus on immature unsubstantiated rants. Keep your petty minded opinions to yourself and leave those people alone who are genuinely trying to make a difference or even just trying to do their jobs.

That's if you have the guts to move on or will you just sit in the background trying to ensure the Company fails as you have in previous years. I suggest anyone who reads this ignores these negative comments. Sure the Company is going through difficult times (who isn't) but it needs everyone to pull together, not start again (which is what these idiots are trying to achieve).

I have listened to the comments that are listed here and would say that it seems to be from people who have been found out. As a company it has carried worthless individuals for so long and now they have a plan those people are beiing seen for what they are useless.

If you want to complain then either step up and demonstrate that you can add value, or admit that you are in fact one of the reasons why this company is where it is. If all we achieve is we pass the crap to our competition then job well done.

Good luck Getronics with what you are trying to achieve, and good riddance to the worthless piles of crap that we carried for so long.

I can't believe those 2 comments. The market's crap, we've lost a huge account and companies all over the place are letting people go. The HR people are gutted about the redundancies but reading those comments you'd think they enjoyed it.

I hope those nasty commenters clear off so people who have got a bit of decency can keep doing their best to improve things. There's no place for vicious cowards who attack people for doing a thankless job. That kind of abuse says more about them than the company.

Just got an email about the shite on here - seems like some one has a real bug bear. Perhaps they were exited for non performance? If you think things should be or could be done better than step up and email the management team either in country or at corporate HQ.

I cant believe wha tI have read when a collegue emailed me a link here. Although I am in the Netherlands now I did 6 months in the UK last year - I am proud to work for Getronics and was proud to be part of the UK team. Very nasty personal comments - completly unnacceptable.
