Pretty good place to work. Raises come usually once a year, but they are a very small percentage. But still a friendly place to work. Good people all around you most of the time.

This is a hospital with a lot of opportunity. I think the high level leaders are responsive. They have yearly surveys and respond with resounding support to do whatever they can to correct issues that dishearten employees. Some jobs just suck - ER, food service or cleaning bad stuff that comes out of people - what are you gonna do. Sometimes the lower level managers are completely impotent to do things which makes morale bad sometimes. There should be more flexibility at their level. With the economy they have cut out a lot also, but they have not had massive layoffs. With the government working against them at every turn it is amazing they can keep things running as good as they are.
