To many whores work at showa who think they can have any man they want whether they have family at home or not. She's 25 years old and messing around spending all her time on lunches and breaks with a man who is 42. Saying only friends please bitch your more than friends and your name is Ashley Stanforth. You know who you are. i've known the guy for awhile and he's a better person than your making him out to look like.

I thought that the downsizing of the company was common knowledge. Yes there is alot of ass kissing going on and some unfairness toward employees whom can do the job and care enough to do it. It is difficult enough to work 7 days a week now, but to have to deal with a few that want to backstab or pry in your biz come on worry about your job when you are on the clock. This is a factory, steady employment, good benefits, an ok work environment.

Good bye JM. Thanks for nothing. I mean really, two years pissed down the drain. Helicopters were landing when you got here and they will soon be landing again. I will admit, however, that it is pretty cool for someone to land a helicopter and a piece of tail at the same time. From one player to another, job well done! Anyways, good luck on your next adventure - whether it be in the conference room or on the production line. :)

Showa pays well. benefits are great.... unless you are the wife of someone who works there. My husband used to love coming home to me and the kids... now the whores that are messing with everyone with pants have a hold on him. Showa ruins families and lives

American Showa has to be the most poorly managed company I've ever been around. Anyone who has any insight will tell you that the management has run the company into the ground. They do such a poor job of planning all they do is run around putting out fires. Of course, this means they overreact to every situation and make decisions that quickly become counter-productive. It is virtually impossible to succeed at this company because they do not clearly define roles and responsibilities. Therefore, no one knows what criteria their performance is being measured by. Ask the General Manager of Administration, whe will agree and tell you they need to do something about it. Of course, she hasn't done anything about it for years, but that's par for the course. Add the lack of direction to the constant finger pointing and it's no surprise that most of the associates are paranoid and spend the majority of their time and energy trying to avoid getting blamed for problems. Do yourself a favor and look for an employer that supports their employees and gives them an opportunity to succeed.

Showa Blanchester, We have a rule book , but the rules change as the company sees fit to change them according to what they want them to be. The opportunity book , WOW, that's a joke , you sign up
for a job on another shift [ 1st shift] , and what do they do they move associates all around on first shift .not just in the same department , but from other departments ex: 2 associates from reman 1st. shift were moved to assembly vane pump line 1 st shift ,What about the associates who already signed the oppurtunity book and by the way , some them had more senority than the 2 associates that were transferred . Oh but guess what they'll say the great wise words of wisdom " we're downsizing ". so if they're down sizing put them on the off shifts and follow the rule book and the oppurtunity book , and put the people who signed the opportunity book on 1st shift and then the 2 from reman can sign the opportunity book to get back on 1 st shift.

I have been working for Showa for a year now and even though they have taken some things away it is still better than any place you are going to find out there.I am glad to see the upper management trimming the fat, anyone doing drugs or not pulling their weight should be let go.All they are asking for is people to come in do their job and do it right without goofing off. I am very glad I have a job, even at 32 hours its better than none.

I worked at American Showa for 5 years and had to quit to get my daughter medical care in another state.I wish I still worked there it sounds the same way it didi when I worked there and I don't know why everyone is bitching about the place it was the best job I ever had the pay is great and benefits (medical) is execellent. The hours for some sucked but you should be lucky you have a job.I'd do anything to have my job back. And about the high school drama you'll find that whereever you work at least here you get paid great for listening to it.All the cry babies need to shut up and if you don't like it buy some of the drugs goung around you can find anything you want at Showa maybe this will get you through the day.

Hi,
I have been at Showa a long time too, and the pay is good, Respect is a little bit harder to come by sometimes ! The benefits was what made Showa a great place to work way back when. I remember bragging to people how good thing wer'e. But now the economy is suffering and so are we!!!
But my main concern is, is Showa taking advantage of the situation we are in or not? I know for years they have made alot of money, and now all at once it's we are destitute!
How is that possible when we made so much money before! I know Showa made alot of money from Harley Davidison, and they showed an increase and profit the first year they did bussiness with them. So is it a matter of bad management and carelesness or what? I think Showa has alot of potential and can survive all this but they need to be more honest and get rid of the dead weight of the ones who cheat ,steal, and milk the company on hours worked when they are not. Maybe it would be helpfull to take a look at some of your parking lot videoes and see who's coming and going when they should be staying.
Good Luck in the future because it is also our future.
Sincerly,
Mary Yoakam
